The Jose Gesavio Castilleja Descendants Nonprofit Organization Scholarship Program is administered without regard to race, color, religion, creed, gender, or national origin. 

ESSAY EMAIL SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:

Complete the following:

• Download Scholarship Application 
• Download and learn about Geneology and Family Reunions.
• Submit      a typed Essay based on your learned lessons about our Family History,      Geneology and Family Reunion Information. (NO WORD LIMIT) We want to hear      your voice so don’t limit yourself with your answers.
• Provide      a copy of your official high school transcript or college transcript.
• Provide      enrollment documents from your college, university or trade school 
• Submit      Signed Application and Essay via Email to Priscastilleja@yahoo.com

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

1. Must be enrolled at any school of higher education at the time of submission (community college, state college, university, vocational or technical schools)

2. Must be a direct or indirect descendent of the Castilleja Family including Adoptions.

DEADLINES:

Enrollment:  July 1, 2026-August 1, 2026

Applications due: August 1, 2026. 

Finalists will be notified: August 15, 2026 via email.

ELIGIBILITY:

Scholarships are based on a combination of financial need, academic or personal merit.
